Readathon
Students who have completed grades 3–12 Mon., August 2, 1:30–4:30 p.m.
Grab your favorite cushion, tote a stack of books, and settle in for an afternoon of silent
reading. Lemonade and cookies will be provided. A drawing for books will be held. Members
of Book Clubs II, III, & GTGR will receive credit for 2 books. (You MUST attend for the entire
3 hours.) Program does not include Read-With-Me, Book Club I, or preschool children.

1,618,700 Items Checked Out
It’s official, the Library has set a new circulation record for the number of items checked out during this fiscal year. The new record is 1,618,700 items. That is an 8.5% increase from last year. This is the seventh year that the Library’s circulation has been over one million items.
