Summer Reading Book Clubs 2010

Summer Reading for All!

  • Registration begins on Wednesday, May 26 - visit the Library to pick up a book log.
  • Log-in BEGINS on Wednesday, June 9
  • Log-in ENDS on Wednesday, August 4

Summer reading is for everyone who enjoys reading, from infants through senior citizens. Mark your calendar to visit the Library beginning on Wednesday, May 26 to pick up a book log.

Infants, preschool children, and elementary students may register in Youth Services at the ASK ME Desk. We welcome students with special needs and invite parents to talk with us so that we may customize the book club goals for your son or daughter.

Middle school students may register in either Youth Services or Adult Services.

High school students and adults may register in Adult Services at either the Readers Services or Information Services Desk. More information about Adult Summer Reading and Trivia Contests.

Our collection has many wonderful books suited to individual reading levels and interests. “Reading” includes listening as well. Audio books, e-books, and Playaways are just a few of the many ways to enjoy a good book.

Start reading and writing the titles on your book log. Then head back to the Library to sign in the books you’ve completed beginning Wednesday, June 9. Keep on reading and returning with your book log through Wednesday, August 4.

As a member of our Book Clubs your reading experience will be enhanced with reading rewards provided by our generous sponsors.

The fun continues with weekly and grand prize drawings and trivia contests in Adult Services as well as the Hidden Book, exciting performances, events, and displays in Youth Services. Discover Your Library this summer.
