Being the Big Bad Wolf isn't what it used to be. Not only did Mr. Wolf fail to capture the three little pigs, he was chased off with an ax by a woodcutter while pretending to be Little Red Riding Hood's granny. He just can't win anymore. Is there any other career that's good for someone who is fast, strong, and scary? Pictures on every page make this book a quick, engaging read.

This is the first book in My Weird School Daze, the second series about AJ, Michael, Ryan, and Neil and their friends at Ella Mentary School. I love all these books! I read every one of them this summer! They are so funny that I read most of them two or three times. This story is about the friends graduating from second grade, and as usual it is hilarious.

Mucumber McGee and the Half-Eaten Hot Dog

'Mucumber McGee and the Half-Eaten Hot Dog' by Patrick Loehr is written with an easy-to-read verse that will have the young reader looking twice at a hot dog. The drama all started when Mucumber slept straight through dinner and awoke with a terrible hunger. 'Mucumber and his pet lizard searched high and low; Looking from his head to his toe. To find something to eat; Which was no small feat. His world turned up-side down; When his sister said with a frown. 'An uncooked hot dog made of meat; Tragically, is a most deadly thing to eat.' Enjoy this story as it gives the reader very sound advice on what to do when 'your stomach is empty and your hunger is great', and all that is left is a dog on your plate!

Twelve-year-old Lyle Williams, aka Mudshark, is the coolest boy in school. He has the ability to remember small details and that gives him the knack for finding almost anything. Some very unusual things are happening at school. The class gerbil is wandering the hallways, the faculty bathroom has a toxic smell, and the erasers are disappearing from every classroom. The teachers are starting to use their shirts to clean the chalkboards, so Principal Wagner asks Mudshark to find the stolen erasers. Mudshark solves the mystery, but needs the help of some friends and the library's parrot to return the erasers without anyone getting in trouble. Read the book and enjoy the crazy characters.
