A typical middle school aged boy and girl are paired up to tell a fairy tale for their library project. The young lady starts the story of a beautiful Princess Tenderheart who is gowned in a lovely pink and purple ensemble. She spends her days with her adorable ponies. When the young man takes over, the tone of the tale changes dramatically. All of a sudden, we have a way cool motorcycle, its macho rider, pony stew, volcanoes, and breath that smells like rotten, moldy, stinky, wet feet. Can the two tellers find a way to agree on happily ever after?

Flowers are beautiful, unless you are 16, and plagued by an old family curse. Princess Emma is determined to find a cure, and not turn mean and ugly like her aunt and grandmother did when they touched a flower. With help of her friend, Eadric, and others, Emma travels back in time to the day before the curse was made. This is book three in the Tales of the Frog Princess series.

Stuey has a secret that makes him not want to start second grade. His secret is that he can't read very well. His best friend, Will, loves to read. He has been reading since he was four years old. Stuey is sure he is the only one in second grade who can't read, then he meets his second grade teacher, Ms. Curtis. Ms. Curtis is a new teacher who tells the class that she wants to be their friend. Maybe second grade won't be so bad, after all. Other chapters are about Stuey's favorite holiday, Halloween, when Stuey has a plan to top all his previous Halloween capers, Stuey's soccer woes, and an end-of-the-school-year surprise.
