The Managed Collection provides quick access to the Internet and offers an enhanced selection of sites that are evaluated and reviewed for authority by the Youth Services Internet Coordinator. Keying in cumbersome URLs is unnecessary. Take a look at what the collection can do, so you can make the most of your time on the Internet.

Beyond the Managed Collection

The ASK ME staff are available to assist with an information search that goes beyond the managed collection. For more extensive searches, we recommend a parent conduct the search for the student at in the Technology Center or Info Commons in Adult Services. To change Internet access from the Managed Collection to full Internet access – a parent or guardian must bring the child/student’s library card to the Circulation Desk and complete a form.

Suggestions for adding websites to the managed collection will be accepted at the ASK ME Desk.  A written request form is required so that the site may be evaluated, reviewed, and considered for inclusion.
